'3 Capital & New Districts' Issues To Be Discussed: AP Cabinet Meet Turns Crucial
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jagan going to be held on Wednesday turns out to be crucial with speculations that several major decisions are to be taken.
If the information from trusted sources is to be true, the cabinet will discuss a total of 20 issues especially the formation of new districts and the most controversial three capital issue.
The meeting would also finalise on the plans for various welfare programs while the distribution of 30 lakh house-sites to the poor has been on high priority. Finalising the new containment strategies to bring the Corona spread under control is the other crucial discussion.
While the deadline for discussion in the Legislative Council for passing the bill is July 14, the Cabinet meeting is likely to stress on the decentralisation through three capitals. Sources also said that the Cabinet may agree for the two MLCs to be filled under Governor quota.
Setting up a sand corporation, enhancing social security pension from Rs 2,250 to Rs 2,500 per month from August are other crucial topics to be discussed.
