Gandhi Outsourcing Employees Calls Off The 5-Days Long Protests
Situations heated by in Telangana capital Hyderabad, with 4th class outsourcing sanitation workers and security on Tuesday joining the staff nurses who are already protesting from the past 4 days. However, the meeting held with the authorities and the union leaders has reportedly ended on a positive note while the former agreed to meet the long-standing demands.
The government has agreed to take all the outsourcing employees into contract-based payroll while the salary of the nurses working on the frontline is a hike from Rs 17,500 and Rs 25,000. Reportedly, the authorities also agreed to pay a daily incentive of Rs 750 for employees who takes up the Corona duty.
The fourth class employees working in corona wards will get Rs 300 incentive besides which the duties were reduced to 15 days a month. In the wake of which, over 700 nurses, sanitation & security staff registered under different unions like CITU, AITUC, INTUC, and BMS announced that they have called off the strike and would join back duties from Thursday.
