Rajasthan Political Crisis: Sachin Pilot Sacked, meets BJP Bigwigs in Delhi
In what can be stated as the most anticipated move, Congress high command on Tuesday issued notices dismissing Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot from every office he held. While tensions ran high in the state, the young and rebel leader is busy meeting the BJP bigwigs in the nation's capital.
Specifying that the mentioned leaders fell in the trap of BJP's designs, Congress also dropped two other cabinet ministers along with the state party chief from Ashok Gehlot-led government.
Followed by the resolutions passed by the party's disciplinary action committee, Congress media in-charge RS Surjewala stated that they were forced to take the decision.
"It is with a heavy heart that it has been decided to remove Sachin Pilot as deputy CM, state chief and other responsibilities he holds in the government," he added.
Surjewala also confirmed that cabinet ministers Vishvendra Singh Bharatpur and Ramesh Meena were removed as ministers. In no time, the party named OBC leader and Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara as the new state chief.
Meanwhile, Sachin's team in a reflex immediately changed the leader's profile on his social media handles. They now describe him as MLA from Tonk and "former" minister of IT, telecom and corporate affairs in the government of India. Further, reacting on the scenarios for the first time ever since the crisis triggered, Sachin left a post which read-"The truth can be harassed but not defeated."

Things started to take a swift turn after 2018 elections while political circles are rife with speculations that Sachin was upset since he was denied the Rajasthan chief minister's post after the elections.
The Congress conveyed was learnt to convey to him CM post would not be possible but that it would give him better and more posts for his followers.
