In a significant step towards promoting experiential and future-ready education, Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir, Narsingarh, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art Composite Skill Lab in line with the latest CBSE guidelines on Skill Education and Vocational Learning and the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The newly established facility, named the K. V. Gopalkrishnan Tech Innovation Lab, has been dedicated to the memory of Late K. V. Gopalkrishnan on the occasion of his 100th birth anniversary. The initiative aims to equip students with practical skills and technological competencies essential for the rapidly evolving world.
With the launch of the lab, Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir has become the first school in Tripura to introduce a fully integrated Composite Skill Lab that brings advanced technologies and innovation-oriented learning resources under one roof.
The lab has been designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and innovation among students. It is equipped with modern facilities covering Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Drone Technology, Coding Platforms, Digital Innovation Tools, and Smart Learning Infrastructure. By integrating classroom learning with hands-on experiences, the institution aims to strengthen students' critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, collaboration skills, adaptability, and technological proficiency.
The inauguration also served as a tribute to Late K. V. Gopalkrishnan, the Founder Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra. Remembered for his lifelong commitment to educational excellence, cultural enrichment, and character-building, Gopalkrishnan played a pivotal role in shaping the institution's legacy.
To commemorate his centenary birth anniversary, the school organised a special presentation highlighting his life, philosophy, and contributions, enabling students to learn about his enduring impact on education and society.
