Tripura Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Arindam Deb on Friday undertook an organisational tour of the northern parts of Sepahijala district, meeting party workers and leaders and reviewing organisational activities.
The visit began at the Sri Sri Dakshineswar Kali Temple in Bishalgarh, where Deb was accorded a warm welcome by local BJP and Yuva Morcha leaders. District Yuva Morcha secretary Saikat Saha welcomed him, while District BJP president Biplab Chakraborty, District Sabhadhipati Supriya Das Dutta and other leaders felicitated him with an uttariya and a bouquet.
A bike rally was subsequently organised from Bishalgarh Motor Stand. A large number of Yuva Morcha workers and supporters took part in the rally, which proceeded towards Bishramganj.
At Bishramganj, Deb was further felicitated at the Sachin Dev Barman Memorial Community Hall, where a large gathering of BJP Yuva Morcha workers and supporters was present.
The organisational meeting focused on strengthening the youth wing at the grassroots level and expanding its activities across Sepahijala district. Party leaders and workers discussed upcoming organisational programmes and strategies to increase the participation of young people in party activities.
With the 2028 Tripura Assembly elections approaching, emphasis was also placed on building a stronger organisational network at the booth and grassroots levels and ensuring greater involvement of youth workers in party programmes.
The packed community hall and enthusiastic participation of Yuva Morcha workers reflected the growing organisational focus of the BJP's youth wing in the district.
