Delhi-based neurotechnology startup Sychedelic will present its CDSCO-approved consumer brain wearable at VivaTech 2026 in Paris, marking a key step in the company’s global expansion plans.
Indian Neurotech Startup Targets Global Market
Sychedelic, a deeptech company focused on brain-health technology, will exhibit its flagship wearable device at VivaTech France, one of Europe’s largest technology and startup events. The company will showcase its product at Pavilion 7, Booth 1F39-002, where it plans to connect with international investors, partners, and customers.
The startup says nearly 90% of its business comes from export markets, reflecting growing demand for neurotechnology products outside India.
CDSCO Approval Sets Device Apart
According to the company, its wearable is the only consumer-focused brain device to receive approval from India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), the country’s medical device regulator.
The headset is designed to monitor and respond to a user’s mental state in real time. It combines brain stimulation technology, audio-based brainwave training, and heart rate variability tracking to create personalized experiences aimed at stress management, focus improvement, sleep support, and mental wellness.
Focus on Real-Time Brain Adaptation
Unlike conventional devices that operate through fixed programs, Sychedelic’s platform adjusts continuously based on live physiological signals. The system uses transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), binaural audio frequencies, and biofeedback data to adapt sessions to each user.
The company says the technology has been tested and refined over the past six months with more than 100 early users, helping improve both the hardware and software systems before a wider launch.
Revenue Growth and Funding Plans
Sychedelic reports an annual recurring revenue (ARR) run rate of approximately $3 million. To support manufacturing growth and international expansion, the company has opened a $5 million bridge funding round.
The startup aims to use the capital to strengthen production capacity, expand global sales channels, and increase revenue toward a long-term target of $30 million ARR.
Kickstarter Launch Planned
Alongside its appearance at VivaTech, Sychedelic is preparing for an international Kickstarter campaign that will allow consumers worldwide to pre-order the wearable device.
Co-founder Ria Rustagi said the event offers an opportunity to introduce Indian-built neurotechnology to a broader audience while engaging with investors and early adopters ahead of the crowdfunding launch.
Growing Role for Indian Deeptech
Sychedelic’s participation at VivaTech highlights the increasing presence of Indian deeptech startups in global technology markets. As interest in consumer neurotechnology continues to grow, companies developing regulated and science-backed products are drawing attention from investors and consumers alike.
Founded by Ria Rustagi and Bhavya, Sychedelic operates across India and the United States and focuses on bringing neuroscience-based technologies into everyday consumer use.
