Bengaluru’s leading B-school opens applications for its flagship two-year programme that graduates founders with live businesses — not just degrees
Bengaluru, 4 May 2026: Acharya Bangalore Business School (ABBS), one of Bengaluru’s most respected management institutions, has opened admissions for its MBA (Entrepreneurship) programme for the academic year 2026–27. The programme is purpose-built to transform aspiring founders into market-ready entrepreneurs, with a curriculum that requires students to build, register, and operate real businesses before they graduate.
Applications are now being accepted.
The programme commences on 6 August 2026, with a last date to apply of 31 July 2026. Candidates may apply at https:// application.abbs. edu. in/abbs-goi.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF MBA
Unlike conventional MBA programmes that treat entrepreneurship as an elective or a case-study exercise, the ABBS MBA (Entrepreneurship) embeds venture creation into every semester. From idea validation and prototype development in the first year to investor pitching, business registration, and full-scale operations in the second, students graduate as founders, not just managers.
The cohort is intentionally capped at 60 students per intake, enabling the kind of personalised mentoring that large cohorts cannot afford. Every student is guided by experienced entrepreneurs, connected to active investor networks, and supported by legal, financial, and digital advisory teams dedicated to venture building.
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
Structured semester-wise journey: market analysis → business planning → prototype development → business registration → investor engagement → full-scale venture operations
Live mentoring by serial entrepreneurs and industry practitioners
Direct networking with venture capitalists and angel investors
Access to government-backed incubation ecosystems and funding programmes
AI and digital tools integrated throughout the curriculum
Dedicated legal, financial, and digital support for every venture
Graduates leave with a running business and a full MBA degree
ECOSYSTEM & INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERS
The programme is supported by a robust ecosystem of institutional and entrepreneurial partners including KSCST, SIDBI, MSME, NSIC, FKCCI, K-Tech, TiE, ENACTUS, and leading industry associations. Together, these partnerships give students access to funding, policy support, market linkages, and mentorship that go well beyond the classroom.
