Mangaluru: MyG, one of the leading retail chains for electronics and home appliances in South India, has set a revenue target of Rs 7,500 crore for the financial year 2026-27.

Addressing a press conference, company chairman A K Shaji said that the company had set a target of Rs 5,000 crore in the previous financial year but exceeded expectations by recording a turnover of Rs 5,500 crore.

Apart from business expansion, the company is also focusing on job creation. It plans to increase its workforce from 5,800 to 10,000 by 2026-27. During the last Onam season, the company recorded a turnover of Rs 1,600 crore.

The company plans to open 40 to 50 new showrooms in the current financial year. It will establish large "Epic" showrooms with a wide range of products across all districts. MyG is also planning to expand beyond Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu into other states.

Founded in 2006 in Kozhikode as a 200 sq ft store named 3G Mobile World, MyG has grown into a network of over 150 MyG and MyG Future showrooms.

The company's portfolio includes G-Dot TVs, digital devices, Gadmi non-stick cookware, and kitchen appliances. These products, currently available in showrooms, will soon be introduced more widely in the market. The company said it is known for quality, durability, and modern design.

With over 20 years of experience, MyG has become one of the trusted electronics and retail brands in Kerala. With a customer base of over one crore, the company has partnerships with more than 400 national and international brands including Samsung, LG, Apple, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Godrej, Whirlpool, Bosch, Haier, Sony, Philips, JBL, Boat, Lenovo, and HP. Its product range includes smartphones, laptops, televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners.

Brand ambassadors Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier have helped strengthen the company's presence across South India, Shaji said.

The company aims to emerge as one of India's largest digital electronics and home appliance retail chains, driven by innovation and customer trust. It is focusing on expansion in India and Gulf countries and operates a customer-friendly online platform through its website.
