Instagram recently introduced a subscription option that allows users to pay a monthly or yearly fee to access exclusive content from celebrities and influencers. Many public figures have adopted this feature to share premium content and generate income.

Vishnupriya had launched her subscription service on Instagram, where users reportedly pay Rs 390 per month to view her exclusive posts. She has gained over 4,000 subscribers and has shared multiple stories, reels, and posts through the platform.

According to reports, members of a student organisation filed a complaint with cyber crime police in Vijayawada, alleging that the content shared by the anchor is objectionable and could mislead young audiences.

The complaint stated that as a public figure, her posts may have a negative impact on viewers and send the wrong message. It also mentioned that she is earning money through such content via the subscription model.

Following the complaint, police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Vishnupriya gained wider recognition after participating in the Telugu version of the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu and has appeared in films, television shows, and web series.
