Manipal: The Tulu film 'Dev Das Na Leela', which has already gained attention through its teaser and songs, is set for release on April 24 across the coastal belt.
The film features Elton Jeff in the lead role, with Advithi Shetty as the female lead. Veteran Tulu actors Naveen D Padil, Devdas Kapikad, Aravind Bolar and Anoop Sagar play key roles in the film.
The makers said the film will be released across Tulu Nadu on April 24.
The film has been presented with a Bollywood-style touch, marking a first for Tulu cinema. One of its songs, "Ale Ennal", which has already become popular, has been sung by noted singer Shaan. The film also features a dance anthem that includes appearances by well-known Bollywood choreographers Remo D'Souza, Geeta Kapoor, Terence Lewis, Puneeth and Rajit Dev.
Tejesh Poojary, who has worked as a choreographer in Bollywood, has directed the film.
The movie has been produced under the Jayanti Productions banner, with Deepak Singh and Upper Entertainment joining hands with director Tejesh Poojary in production.
Cinematography for the film has been handled by Saif Ali Ansari, while music has been composed by Saish Bharadwaj and Patson Pereira.
