The makers have scheduled paid preview shows for March 18, a day before the official worldwide release. Ticket bookings for these preview screenings opened on March 7, while advance bookings for the regular March 19 shows are yet to begin.

According to Livemint reports, the film has already sold around 3.48 lakh tickets for 8,337 shows across India through preview bookings. The paid preview screenings have generated about Rs 18.64 crore so far.

The Hindi version accounts for the largest share of ticket sales. Reports indicate that the Hindi format has collected around Rs 18.16 crore from about 3.23 lakh tickets across 7,951 shows. The Hindi Dolby Cinema format has also recorded sales, earning about Rs 1.57 lakh from 203 tickets.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge will release as a pan-India film in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Among the dubbed versions, the Tamil version has collected about Rs 23.58 lakh from 15,385 tickets. The Telugu version has earned Rs 18.54 lakh from 7,827 tickets.

The Kannada version has recorded Rs 2.04 lakh from 479 tickets, while the Malayalam version has generated around Rs 2.25 lakh from 934 tickets through advance bookings.

Trade reports suggest that the film's paid preview collections may challenge the current paid preview record of Rs 25 crore set by OG starring Pawan Kalyan. Advance booking trends in Hindi and strong occupancy in the United States are also being reported.

The film has crossed $1 million in advance bookings for its opening day in North America.

In the film, Ranveer Singh plays undercover Indian agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates under the alias Hamza Ali Mazari. After the death of gangster Rahman Dakait in the first instalment, Hamza rises to power and becomes a feared figure in Lyari. The story follows his mission to track down Major Iqbal, an ISI chief allegedly linked to major attacks against India.
