Bengaluru: Actor Yash is currently busy with his upcoming projects Toxic and Ramayana. After the success of KGF, Yash emerged as a pan-India star and is now preparing to make a mark at the global level with his new ventures.
Yash recently attended CinemaCon 2026 in the United States along with Ramayana producer Namit Malhotra. During the event, both of them participated in several interviews and spoke about their upcoming projects.
In an interview with Screen Daily, Yash addressed questions about KGF-3. Responding to queries about the third instalment, he said that he is currently busy with Toxic and Ramayana Parts 1 and 2 and has not thought about any other project for now.
He added that he and director Prashanth Neel are in regular discussion and will proceed only when they have the right script. "We must come with the correct script. After that, we will definitely do it," Yash said.
Director Prashanth Neel is presently working on a project with Jr NTR, which is scheduled for release on June 11, 2027. Yash is expected to be engaged with Ramayana Part 2 in 2027. As a result, KGF-3 is likely to begin only after 2028, according to industry expectations.
KGF Chapter 2, released in 2022, featured Yash along with Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj. The film performed strongly at the box office.
Yash's film Toxic is set for release on June 4. Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled to release during the Diwali festival.
