Moodbidri: Twenty-four students of Alva's Pre-University College have cleared the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Dr. M. Mohan Alva, Chairman of Alva's Education Foundation, told a press conference that the NDA is a crucial milestone for becoming officers in the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. He emphasized that Alva's PU College is effectively preparing students for this challenge.

The successful students are: Vivek A., Advit Vikrant Shende, Amogha Nagaraj Billur, Mohammad Yusuf Nisar Sheikh, Sayish Prashanth Talekar, Prahlad Datta Desai, Samhit V. Rao, Harsha M., Krithik B., Pranav N. Pandit, Vijaykumar Sangayya Chikmath, Piyush H., Shreyas C. Kabbinkanthimath, Bharatesh Nagesh Moger, Chinmay S., Sanket Bhat, Sumit V. K., Harsha Reddy, Mohit Kumar J., Akshay Bharadwaj, Anush Arun K., Piyush H., Vismay Narayan Nadig, Melroy Castelino, and Ishaan.

Special Training at Alva's

Special importance is given to NDA training at Alva's, where competitive exam preparation is integrated with regular PU education. Experienced lecturers provide coaching in Mathematics, General Knowledge, English, and Logical Reasoning. Regular mock tests, question paper analysis, time management strategies, and personal guidance have contributed to the students' success. Additionally, focus is placed on physical fitness through regular exercise, parade training, and sports activities.
