Bengaluru: A PU student was allegedly stabbed by another biker for not giving way while riding on the road in the jurisdiction of the Rajarajeshwari Nagar Police Station.

The injured student has been identified as Aditya, a resident of RR Nagar, and he is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Aditya was pursuing his first-year PU studies and was also working part-time for Rapido. On Wednesday night, he was taking his friend on a bike towards a bar on Global Village Road when Santosh and his friend, who were coming from behind on another bike, picked a quarrel alleging that Aditya had not given them side.

As the argument escalated, Santosh allegedly stabbed Aditya with a knife and fled from the spot along with his friend. Aditya, who sustained injuries in the attack, is receiving treatment at the hospital. Police have launched a search for the accused.
