The deceased has been identified as Manish (22), the only son of Ashok, a resident of Kukkaje Bail in Ira village. It is learned that he worked as a laborer at the Vikas Shamiana firm in Manchi.

The accident took place when an Ape rickshaw coming from the opposite direction collided with Manish's bike while he was traveling from Salethur toward Kukkaje. Due to the severity of the impact, the rider was thrown onto the road and sustained critical injuries. Although locals immediately attempted to rush him to the hospital via ambulance, he breathed his last on the way.

Bantwal traffic police visited the spot for inspection and have registered a case. Manish was the only son of his family and was their primary support. A wave of grief has spread across the Kukkaje area following the young man's untimely death.
