In this regard, he has written to the Election Commission of India (ECI) and Income Tax officials, urging them to examine the Rs 1 crore legal aid fund announced by senior advocate and Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal to support the legal battles of CJP protesters facing police cases.

Tiwari urged authorities to verify the financial status of Abhijit Dipke's father, Bhagwanrao Dipke-a retired employee of the Maharashtra government-and investigate the source of funds utilized for his son's foreign education.

Meanwhile, he also raised questions regarding the "legal status of the Cockroach Janata Party." He stated that the Election Commission must verify whether the CJP, operating under the name of a political party, is legally entitled to collect funds.

"The Cockroach Janata Party is not a registered political party. Yet, it operates under the guise of a political party. A donation of Rs 1 crore has been announced for its legal aid fund. Therefore, it needs to be verified whether CJP is registered with the Election Commission under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951," Tiwari stated.

"If it is not registered, it must also be examined whether operating in the name of a political party and collecting or receiving funds is legal," he added.

In addition, Tiwari has submitted a request to the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) to check whether GST applies to the Rs 1 crore legal aid fund announced by Kapil Sibal.

Notably, senior advocate and Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal had announced a contribution of Rs 1 crore to the fund established by CJP to provide legal assistance to protesters arrested by Delhi Police during demonstrations against the NEET question paper leak controversy.
