Following a complaint filed by Anna Rathod from Mudnal Dodda Tanda in Yadagiri taluk, Lokayukta officials conducted a raid. The operation was led by Lokayukta DYSP J H Inamdar along with staff including Sidraiah Baluragi and other personnel. The accused traffic police officer, identified as Nagesh, has been taken into custody and is being investigated, officials said.

During the raid, it was found that Nagesh had accepted the bribe and kept the money in his drawer, according to Lokayukta officials.
