Nilkamal Q4 results: Nilkamal's board of directors, after their quarterly board meeting on May 14, announced that the company's net profit after tax (PAT) surged 22% to ₹41.68 crore in the March quarter of the financial year ended 2025-26, according to the consolidated financial statements.
The NSE filings also showed that the company's net profit was at ₹34.22 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous financial year.
The plastic products maker, Nilkamal's revenues from core operations witnessed a 8% rise to ₹965 crore in the January to March quarter of the year ended 2025-26, compared year-on-year with ₹894 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company's falling input costs for the quarter also contributed to positive momentum for the period. Nilkamal's input costs dropped 4% to ₹362 crore, compared with ₹377 crore in the same period a year earlier.
The consolidated statements also showed that the earnings per share rose to ₹27.82 apiece, compared to ₹22.87 per share a year ago.
Nilkamal ₹20/share dividend
Nilkamal's board of directors also recommended a final dividend issue of ₹20 per share with a face value of ₹10 apiece for the financial year ended 2025-26, according to an exchange filing.
If approved, every eligible shareholder will receive a dividend payment of ₹20 per share for every share they own of Nilkamal, up to one day ahead of the pre-determined record date of the final dividend.
"Recommending a final dividend of ₹20/- (200%) per equity share of ₹10 each fully paid for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, which is subject to the approval of the shareholder at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company and will be paid on or after July 24, 2026," the company informed the stock exchange.
The company fixed the record date of the corporate action on Friday, July 10, 2026, to determine the eligibility of the shareholders.
Shares of Nilkamal closed 2.45% higher at ₹1,340.50 after Thursday's trading session, compared to ₹1,308.40 at the previous market close, according to the exchange data.
