RVNL Q4 results: Indian Railways' construction arm Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) on Monday, May 25, reported its earnings for the January-March quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26), posting a 58.92% year-on-year (YoY) fall in its consolidated net profit to ₹187.07 crore.
In the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year, the company had logged a profit of ₹455.42 crore, according to a regulatory filing.
However, the Navratna PSU recorded a 4.18% YoY increase in its revenue from operations to ₹6,695.91 crore during the quarter under review, compared with ₹6,427.11 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).
At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹269 crore in Q4 FY26, marking a 38.42% YoY drop from ₹436 crore in the year-ago period.
Its EBITDA margin contracted to 4.01% for the reporting quarter, in comparison to 6.79% in the March FY25 quarter.
Dividend recommended
RVNL's board of directors also recommended a final dividend of ₹0.71 per equity share, with a face value of ₹10 each for FY26, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The final dividend will be paid within 30 days from the date of its declaration at the AGM, it said.
Furthermore, its board of directors also approved the closure of its joint venture (JV) company, M/s. Kyrgyzindustry-RVNL CJSC in Kyrgyzstan (Central Asia Region).
RVNL stock performance
Shares of RVNL closed 0.50% lower at ₹272.45 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Monday, ahead of the result announcement.
The scrip has lost more than 1% in the past week and 10% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has fallen nearly 25%.
While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹442.80 per equity share on June 9, 2025, it touched a year's low of ₹248 apiece on March 30, 2026.
Rail Vikas Nigam has a total market capitalisation of ₹56,858.50 crore as of May 25, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
