Used-car marketplace CARS24 has acquired the automotive utility platform Vehicle Info from Surat-based Vasundhara Infotech. The acquisition is a part of CARS24's strategy to expand its digital services for vehicle owners as it gears for a market debut.
The deal represents the latest in a series of strategic acquisitions by CARS24 as it transitions toward a full-stack vehicle ownership platform. The company acquired another vehicle management application, CarInfo in January 2026. Prior to that, in April 2025, CARS24 purchased the automotive content and community forum Team-BHP.
The acquisition of Vehicle Info will allow CARS24 to transition from focusing solely on vehicle buying and selling to building a comprehensive digital platform that supports users throughout the lifecycle of vehicle ownership. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Vehicle Info, launched in 2017 by entrepreneur Chirag Pipaliya, is an application that aggregates vehicle-related data. It allows owners to check registration details, pay traffic fines, verify insurance validity, and track service histories on a single platform.
ā"Vehicle Info was built with the goal of making vehicle-related information and services easily accessible for everyday users. Joining hands with CARS24 gives the platform an opportunity to scale that vision further and integrate it into a larger ecosystem that supports users throughout the lifecycle of vehicle ownership," noted Chirag Pipaliya, co-founder of Vasundhara Infotech.
These ecosystem expansions align with CARS24's aggressive growth and public market ambitions. In January 2026, Chief Executive Vikram Chopra told YourStory that the firm aims to list on public bourses within six to 12 months. Chopra reported that the company recorded an adjusted net revenue of Rs 651 crore in the first half of the 2026 fiscal year and is on track to exceed Rs 750 crore in the second half, according to the publication.
CARS24's push into comprehensive ownership services-which includes the rollout of its vehicle financing platform LOANS24, insurance, and compliance tools-has become a primary growth engine. Global loan disbursements grew 38% year-on-year to Rs 1637 crore in the first half of the fiscal year, Chopra shared in January.
Vasundhara Infotech, the parent company of Vehicle Info, is a Gujarat-based software development firm that has delivered more than 300 technology projects across various sectors. The integration is expected to consolidate digital services for vehicle owners and foster further development in the automotive technology sector.
