Deepinder Goyal-backed Temple has acquired evidence-based Longevous as it builds its clinical and scientific capabilities ahead of its launch, Goyal announced the acquisition in a post on X on Thursday.
As part of the acquisition, London-headquartered Longevous founders Dr Robert Mohr and Dr Avi Roy, along with their team, will join Temple full-time.
Mohr has been appointed Chief Medical Officer at Temple. He is a board-certified physician with nearly two decades of clinical experience and previously worked in emergency medicine before moving into evidence-based longevity medicine.
Roy has joined as Head of Science. He is an Oxford-trained biomedical scientist and has worked at the intersection of longevity science and business. He is a co-founder of Founders Health and UDA and was previously a research fellow at the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation at the University of Oxford.
According to Goyal, Mohr and Roy had been testing Temple for two months and worked with its science team to pressure-test its Entropy technology and the data it collects. They also became involved in Temple's validation work and reviewed its first scientific manuscripts before submission.
Longevous will continue to operate as part of Temple, while Mohr and Roy will continue to look after its existing clients personally, Goyal said in his tweet.
Founded by Goyal in 2024, Temple is preparing for its launch with wearable technology to track physiological and health signals, while building an in-house science team focused on longevity.
