A Singapore court has sentenced Byju Raveendran, the founder of embattled edtech company BYJU'S, to six months in jail for contempt of court, according to a Bloomberg report.

Tiea Connectors, a technology-driven manufacturer of interconnect and contact solutions, has raised Rs 77 crore in a Series A funding round led by IvyCap Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Jamwant Ventures and 8X Ventures, along with a group of select high-net-worth angel investors.
The capital will be used to expand Tiea Connectors' manufacturing infrastructure, enhance its R&D and product engineering capabilities, accelerate automation and technology integration, and scale operations across high-growth sectors such as electric mobility, aerospace, defence, avionics, and emerging technology applications in India and abroad.
