Fintech firm CRED has received Reserve Bank of India's approval to operate as a Payment Aggregator (PA).
The company said the licence allows it to onboard merchants, collect payments on their behalf through multiple payment instruments, and manage settlements and refunds.
Meanwhile, financial services platform Aikyam Capital Group has raised Rs 205 crore to mark the first close of its private credit fund. The fund, which is structured under Aikyam Capital Trust, has a target corpus of Rs 300 crore with a green shoe option of Rs 100 crore, taking the total fund size to Rs 400 crore. The news comes at a time when India is seeing growing demand for private credit and structured capital solutions.

Garuda Aerospace, Airbus Helicopters partner for drones

Drone-tech firm Garuda Aerospace and Airbus Helicopters have signed a contract for Garuda to acquire up to 18 Flexrotor Uncrewed Aerial Systems, commonly known as UAS or high-tech drones.
The deal will help help Garuda expand its reach into international markets by offering advanced monitoring and intelligence solutions.
