आज के time में Healthcare industry सिर्फ एक field नहीं, बल्कि सबसे stable और high-demand career zone बन चुकी है। Pandemic के बाद से दुनिया ने समझ लिया कि doctors के साथ-साथ nurses और pharmacy experts ही असली backbone हैं।
अगर आप चाहते हो कि आपका career recession-proof हो, respect मिले और earning भी strong हो, तो B.Sc Nursing और B.Pharm ऐसे options हैं जो future को seriously secure कर देते हैं।
इन courses की खास बात यह है कि ये सिर्फ degree नहीं देते, बल्कि real-life impact create करने का मौका देते हैं। Nursing में आप सीधे मरीजों की care, treatment support और hospital management का हिस्सा बनते हो, जबकि B.Pharm आपको medicines के research, testing और manufacturing की दुनिया में ले जाता है। मतलब एक तरफ आप life बचाने की frontline पर होते हो, और दूसरी तरफ life-saving drugs बनाने की process में contribute करते हो। दोनों ही roles powerful हैं और society में इनकी value हमेशा बनी रहती है।
Entry की बात करें तो 12वीं में Physics, Chemistry और Biology के साथ लगभग 50% marks होना जरूरी होता है। Nursing के लिए Biology must है, जबकि Pharmacy में PCM वाले students भी apply कर सकते हैं। Top colleges में admission के लिए NEET या state-level entrance exams देना पड़ता है, लेकिन कई private colleges 12वीं के marks के basis पर भी entry देते हैं। Smart move यही होता है कि अच्छे government college को target करो, क्योंकि वहां से निकलने के बाद opportunities और exposure दोनों बेहतर मिलते हैं।
Course duration दोनों में लगभग 4 साल का होता है, लेकिन learning style अलग-अलग है। Nursing में anatomy, nutrition, mental health और community care जैसे subjects पढ़ाए जाते हैं, जहां empathy और communication skills बहुत काम आते हैं। वहीं B.Pharm में pharmacology, medicinal chemistry और pharmaceutics जैसे technical subjects होते हैं, जहां analytical thinking और lab skills जरूरी होते हैं। आसान भाषा में समझो तो Nursing दिल और धैर्य मांगती है, जबकि Pharmacy दिमाग और precision।
Career options की बात करें तो दोनों fields में scope ही scope है। Nursing graduates सरकारी अस्पताल, private hospitals, railways, defense services या teaching और research में जा सकते हैं। वहीं B.Pharm वाले students pharma companies में R&D, quality control, production या marketing में काम कर सकते हैं। चाहें तो खुद का medical store खोल सकते हैं या government job के लिए drug inspector बन सकते हैं। Starting salary आमतौर पर ₹45,000 से ₹70,000 per month के बीच होती है, जो experience के साथ तेजी से बढ़ती है। विदेशों में तो Indian professionals की demand इतनी ज्यादा है कि packages लाखों में पहुंच जाते हैं।
