കൃത്യം നടന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് സി.സി.ടി.വി ക്യാമറകള്‍ അടക്കമുള്ള സംവിധാനങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടും പൊലീസ് കേസെടുക്കുകയോ അന്വേഷണം നടത്തുകയോ ചെയ്തില്ലെന്ന് പരാതിയില്‍ ആരോപിക്കുന്നു. കഴിഞ്ഞ മാസം 30-ന് രാത്രിയിലാണ് വെള്ളാവൂർ ജങ്ഷന് സമീപം റോഡില്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചതും ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്തതുമായ രണ്ടായിരത്തോളം ഗർഭനിരോധന ഉറകള്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.
