Kohli, Mayank and Jadeja pay tributes to those who killed in the Lebanon blast
New Delhi, August 05 (HS): Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, Mayank Agarwal and Ravindra Jadeja have paid tribute to those killed in the big blast in Lebanon.
As many as 78 people were killed and more than 4,000 injured after a powerful explosion in a ship docked at the port of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Virat Kohli tweeted this incident as shocking.
Kohli tweeted, "Heartbreaking and shocking. I will pray for the people of Lebanon."
India's opener Mayank Agarwal also expressed his condolences to the people affected by the blast.
Mayank tweeted, "My thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by the massive explosion in Lebanon."
India's all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, tweeted, "The loss of life is always tragic.
My deepest condolences. Prayers to the people of Lebanon."
Initial investigations revealed 2750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored for firecrackers as the cause of the explosion.
