PSUs hold friendly cricket match
A 'friendly cricket match' between Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited, Patna (BSPHCL) was organized at state capital on Sunday.
The Chief Guest on this occasion was Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel) of CCL.
Former Ranji players Sunil Kumar Sing and Ankul Roy, who played from Jharkhand and Mumbai, also participated in the BSPHCL team. Ranjan motivated the players to perform best by participating in the match themselves. CCL decided to bat first by winning the toss and captain Prakash Gahlaut scored 72 runs in 42 balls while playing a stormy innings, while Sri Chandra scored 40 runs from 24 balls and Himanshu scored 21 runs from 35 balls for 6 in front of BSPHCL. He cored a huge score of 192 runs. Chasing the runs, the team of BSPHCL won 193 runs in 20 overs 2 balls for 4 wickets.
Yasveen Shukla scored the highest score from his team, 60 runs in 42 balls, Ankul Roy scored 57 runs in 31 balls, Sunil Kumar Singh scored 21 runs in 22 balls. Roy was awarded 'Man of the Match' for his outstanding performance. Vikas was declared as the 'Best Bowler' while Sunil Kumar Singh was declared as the 'Best Filmer'.
Similarly, CCL team captain Prakash Gahlaut was given the title of 'Best Bestman'. Ranjan applauded the remarkable work of CCL in the field of sports.
Notably, the objective of this match is to progress life slowly with full caution while defeating Covid.
