Veteran actor Kishore Nandlaskar passes away due to coronavirus, Manoj Bajpayee and Anil Deshmukh pay tribute
New Delhi: Veteran actor Kishore Nandlaskar of Hindi and Marathi cinema died at the age of 81 after being hit by the coronavirus. Kishore played an important role in several successful Hindi films and left a mark on the audience with his excellence. He was often seen in director Mahesh Manjrekar's films. The actor Manoj Bajpayee and former Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Anil Deshmukh have mourned the loss.

Kishore Nandlaskar had tested Covid-19 positive last week, after which he was admitted to a central hospital in Thane on Wednesday. He died at the center on Tuesday afternoon. He was having trouble breathing before he was brought to the hospital and his oxygen level had also fallen significantly.
Kishore Nandlaskar has worked in many Hindi films, but after 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta hai,' he became famous by playing the role of Govinda friend. The film was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and was released in 2000. Also, in Mahesh Bhatt's directorial debut film, 'Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain' he played the drunken father of Raghu's friend Dedh Footiya. Apart from this, he was also shown in different characters in films like Singham, Khaki, and Simba.

Paying tribute to the veteran Marathi actor, Anil Deshmukh wrote, "Pained by the demise of veteran actor Kishore Nandlaskar Ji due to Covid19. Along with Marathi, his acting has also left an indelible mark in the Bollywood industry. Extending my condolences to his family, friends & fans in this hour of grief. May the departed soul Rest in Peace." Actor Manoj Bajpayee too tweeted, "Sad news!!! May God bless his soul !!!!"
