NORKA was set up by the Government of Kerala in 1996. NORKA has established a field agency - NORKA-ROOTS in 2002, is a registered Government company under Government of Kerala. It acts as a nodal agency for all matters relating to Non Resident Keralites and implements various welfare schemes for the keralites residing/ working outside Kerala, within and outside india.
