HDFC Bank- How to Get Customer ID or CIF Number?
The Customer ID is a one- of- a- kind identification number assigned to each customer who has a Savings/ Current Account with HDFC Bank.
The Customer ID is mentioned in the Welcome Letter that you received when you opened your Savings/ Current account with the bank.
It's also on the first page of your Cheque Book, Passbook, and Account Statement.
- Visit hdfc netbanking - Select the ' Forgot Customer ID' option.
- Now enter your registered mobile number, country code, date of birth/ PAN information, and security code.
- Now, click ' Continue' to proceed, and on the next page, enter the OTP ( one-time password) received on your registered mobile number to authenticate your request.
- To proceed, click ' Continue,' and your customer ID will be displayed on the screen.
How to Get Customer ID or CIF Number using Mobile banking?
- Open the HDFC Bank mobile app - Sign in using your credentials - Now, Tap on the menu icon - Click on ' Your Profile' and choose ' Personal Profile.'
- Now, Customer ID will be displayed

Customer ID information can be located on the first page of the cheque book from HDFC Bank.
How to Get Customer ID or CIF Number Offline?
- The customer ID can be located at the top of their account statement slip.
- Customer ID information can be located on the first page of their passbook.
- For new regular accounts opened at HDFC Bank, customers should refer to the ' Welcome Letter' for their Customer ID.
