One of them saw close to 60% increase in its Month-on-Month sales this festive season
The SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) sales data has been released for the month of September 2025. With the festive season and the GST-related price cuts, there have been some interesting changes in the Month-On-Month (MoM) as well as Year-on-Year (YoY) sales numbers of one of India's biggest two-wheeler manufacturers - Bajaj Auto.
Here's a list of the top best-selling Bajaj bikes in India in September 2025:
Bajaj Pulsar 125cc Range
Sales | Units Sold |
September 2025 | 91,743 |
August 2025 | 58,941 |
September 2024 | 78,590 |
The Bajaj Pulsar 125cc range has three bikes: the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. With peppy performance and decent mileage, these bikes strike a good balance between being fun and commute-friendly. With over 91,743 units sold in September 2025 alone, the 125cc Pulsars tallied an impressive 55.65% increase in MoM sales and a 16.73% increase in YoY sales of the range. This puts it in our list of the top 5 best-selling bikes in India during the month of September 2025. One of the reasons could be the fact that the entire Bajaj Pulsar range recently got cheaper due to reduced GST, and festive offers were also announced.

Bajaj Pulsar 150
Sales | Units Sold |
September 2025 | 21,803 |
August 2025 | 20,187 |
September 2024 | 31,881 |
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been a popular choice for someone who wants a slightly premium commuter, which is fun to ride as well. Buyers love its classic Pulsar design, but it doesn't seem to be enough. Sure, with21,803 units sold, the Bajaj Pulsar 150's MoM sales jumped by 8.03%. However, its YoY sales showed a fairly large 31.61% drop. It's high time Bajaj updates the Pulsar 150 with more modern features.

Bajaj Pulsar 200-250cc Range
Sales | Units Sold |
September 2025 | 7,752 |
August 2025 | 5,975 |
September 2024 | 6,880 |
The Bajaj 200-250cc range has two bikes: The Bajaj Pulsar 220F and the Bajaj Pulsar N250. The former practically made the Pulsar a household name, while the latter is a 250cc, modern, feature-packed streetfighter in the line-up. They saw a 29.74% increase in MoM sales when compared to August 2025. The YoY sales numbers too have increased by 12.67%.

Summing up, most of the Bajaj bikes have witnessed a healthy jump in sales this month. According to the ICRA (Investment Information and Credit Rating Agency), the YoY retail sales of two-wheelers grew by 6.5%. The sales were initially slow in the beginning of the month, as buyers were waiting for the GST to be lowered. Once the new GST 2.0 kicked in from September 22, the demand sky-rocketed. The timing was perfect as it coincided with the festive season.
The ICRA also predicted that the two-wheeler sales would grow by 6-9% in FY2026, due to the rising demand in rural areas and better affordability of the two-wheelers now.
