Honda Shine 125cc

The Honda Shine 125 has been one of the most preferred commuter bikes for those who want something that's a bit more powerful than a 110cc motorcycle but also without losing out much on mileage. To this end, the Shine 125 delivers refined performance, comfortable ride quality and good mileage, positioning it at the top on this sales chart.

Although Year-on-Year (YoY) sales saw a 10.8% decline, the Month-on-Month (MoM) performance showed a positive 7.8% increase in sales. The sales might further be boosted this month, thanks to the recent launch of the Limited Edition Shine 125.

Pulsar 125cc Range

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 range including the Classic Bajaj Pulsar 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and Bajaj Pulsar N125 together recorded 67,081 unit sales in January 2026. All these bikes offer good performance and decent mileage, but are catered to those who want different designs.

The MoM sales figures showed an increase of a whopping 83.40%, whereas even the YoY figures went up by 10%. This could be due to the recent launch of the updated Bajaj Pulsar 125 complete with a new LED headlamp, LED indicators and new colours. Also many customers might have delayed their purchase in December so that they can get the new model-year motorcycle in January 2026. Nonetheless, it's been a great start for the Pulsar family, and Bajaj intends to keep the momentum going with not one but 8 new Bajaj bike launches in the next few months!

TVS Raider 125

The TVS Raider 125 is one of the sportiest bikes in the 125cc segment. It comes with some segment-first features, aggressive design, and offers a wide variant lineup for buyers to choose from.

This TVS bike witnessed an increase of 31% in Month-on-Month sales and 58% increase compared to the figures of January 2025. Just like the 125cc Pulsar bikes, the TVS Raider's figures could have increased due to new-year's purchase trend.

Hero Glamour 125

The Hero Glamour 125 and Hero Glamour X 125 are part of Hero Glamour range. The Hero bike has posted an increment of 40% in MoM sales and a massive 147% increase in YoY sales figures. The big jump in YoY numbers is due to the fact that the Glamour X 125 was launched in August last year, which really refreshed the ageing bike with a segment-first cruise control, along with a bunch of other interesting features.

Hero Xtreme 125R

The Hero Xtreme 125R is a sporty 125cc motorcycle from the brand. It is also one of the safest motorcycles in its segment featuring dual-channel ABS.

While the YoY sales were down by 4%, the MoM sales saw a rise of nearly 60%. The increase in sales might have been a result of the January's purchase rush. It is also one of thebikes with best mileage under Rs 1 lakh.
