Honda Shine 125

The Honda Shine 125 has been one of the best-selling 125cc bikes for a long time now. With its time-tested reliability, decent mileage, and good comfort, it has been the best-seller, with over 1,25,266 units sold in December 2025.

Though this is an 18.85% decline in its month-on-month (M-o-M) sales numbers, we expect the sales to increase further due to the new year's rush. The year-on-year (Y-o-Y) sales have increased by 36.35%. The brand also unveiled a special edition of the bike recently, which gets some really interesting cosmetic changes.

Bajaj Pulsar 125cc Range

The Bajaj Pulsar 125cc range includes three bikes: the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Bajaj Pulsar N125, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. All of these bikes are quite popular and offer peppy performance along with decent mileage.

Bajaj sold 36,576 units of the Pulsar 125cc range, which is a 39.04% decrease in M-o-M sales and a 12.72% decrease in Y-o-Y sales. We think this dip in sales is a result of the end of the festive sales rush. Bajaj launched the updated Pulsar 125 with a new LED headlamp, LED indicators, and fresh new colours recently, so expect the sales number to rise in the following months.

TVS Raider 125

The TVS Raider 125 is one of the sportiest 125cc commuters currently on sale in India. It also offers some of the most innovative segment-first features. The Raider 125 has a wide variant lineup that caters to different buyers at different price points.

It has been quite popular since its launch and sells in decent numbers. But, due to the recent end of the festive rush, the M-o-M sales have decreased by 30.65%. The Y-o-Y sales have increased by 30.53%, but we expect the sales to further increase in the upcoming month due to the new year's sales rush.

Hero Glamour Range

The Hero Glamour range includes the Hero Glamour 125, and the Hero Glamour X 125. Both of these are the premium commuters from Hero in the 125cc segment. While the M-o-M sales are down by 31.37%, the Y-o-Y sales have increased by a massive 185.05%. We think this is the result of the popularity of the new Hero Glamour X 125, which is also the cheapest bike with a cruise control system.

Hero Xtreme 125R

The M-o-M sales as well as the Y-o-Y sales of the Hero Xtreme 125R have decreased by 34.84% and 25.66%, respectively. While the Xtreme 125R is one of the safest and cheapest 125cc motorcycles with a dual-channel ABS, it lacks the modern features its competition offers. So, we think it's high time Hero updates the bike with at least a TFT display.
