Akshay Kumar paid tribute to Asrani in a special way

Akshay Kumar shared that they have worked together in 12 films. Working with him was like a "masterclass." The actor wrote in the post, "We did 12 films together, and in each one I learned something new from him. Each time it was like a masterclass. Comedy seemed so easy when he did it, but in reality, it's a difficult art. Asrani ji was his master and will always be. Bhoot Bangla is releasing tomorrow. For me, this isn't just a film, it's a memory. A tribute. A salute to that legend, Asrani ji. You will always be missed." Asrani has appeared with Akshay Kumar in several films, including De Dana Dan, Khatta Meetha, Welcome, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Bhagam Bhaag.

Asrani died on 20 October 2025

Govardhan Asrani passed away on October 20. Asrani was last seen in the 2023 films Nonstop Dhamaal and Dream Girl 2. After Bhoot Bangla, Asrani will also be seen in Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Haiwaan.
