Bobby Deol couldn't hold back his tears when he took the stage to receive the award on behalf of his father,Dharmendra. Accepting the honor, Bobby said, "I see my father's love in all of your eyes. My father touched everyone's hearts through his work and even his Instagram Reels, which became his new hobby. He always wanted people to be happy and believed that God has given us all so much in life. He used to say that we all have a special gift within us, and if we believe in it, we can achieve anything."

Furthermore, Bobby Deol said that he has seen both good and bad times but never gave up. He said that his late father, Dharmendra, still receives immense love wherever he goes and whoever he meets. He receives so much love because his father opened people's hearts to him, his brother Sunny Deol, and his entire family.

Meanwhile, Bobby Deol became emotional, saying that people love Dharmendra so much that they have given his family a place in their hearts without any hesitation. The actor said, "And today, standing here, I feel like I can go home and tell them, 'Papa, you couldn't come, so I brought your award with me.' I never imagined I would be here like this, and that Anant Goenka really wanted me here. I am so lucky and thankful to God that he made me his son. Papa, you are the best."

Dharmendra passed away on Monday, November 24, at the age of 89. The actor had been battling age-related ailments (Dharmendra Death Reason). He breathed his last at his home in Juhu, where he was undergoing treatment after being discharged from Breach Candy Hospital. His family conducted his last rites quietly without any official announcement, for which they were widely criticized.
