However, just when he prepares to walk away from the hospital forever, Srishty Agarwal (Gulki Joshi), Dr. Dev's ex-wife and the hospital's administrator, makes an unexpected decision that changes everything, allowing Dr. Dev to stay back, but only as a junior aide to the interns, with no authority to diagnose or treat patients.
