Mumbai, April 10: Dyson has introduced the HushJet Mini Cool, a compact handheld bladeless fan priced at $99. This innovative product miniaturizes Dyson's Air Multiplier technology, which was first launched nearly 17 years ago with its larger bladeless fans.
The HushJet Mini Cool emphasizes portability and convenience, featuring a lightweight and safe design.
The fan is equipped with a 65,000 RPM brushless DC motor, delivering airflow speeds of up to 55 mph (25 m/s). It offers multiple speed settings for quieter operation or extended battery life, supported by a 38mm HushJet projection system that ensures efficient airflow direction.
Users can adjust the airflow direction thanks to the rotatable air outlet. The honeycombed mesh and HushJet nozzle work together to minimize turbulence, maintaining noise levels around 52 decibels at the lowest setting and 72.5 decibels at maximum power.
Measuring 7.9 inches tall and 1.5 inches in diameter, the fan is easy to carry and store. Its slim, cylindrical body weighs just 0.46 pounds, comparable to an average smartphone.
The HushJet Mini Cool operates on a 5,000mAh rechargeable battery, providing up to six hours of runtime on a full charge. It fully recharges in three hours via a USB-C connection. Dyson has included LED battery indicators on both the front and back of the fan for easier usage tracking.
Additionally, Dyson offers several accessories for the HushJet Mini Cool, sold separately. These include a Neck Dock for hands-free use, a Charging Stand for desks, and a Travel Pouch for enhanced portability.
The HushJet Mini Cool fan is available in three color combinations: Stone / Blush, Carnelian / Sky, and Ink / Cobalt.
In related news, Dyson has also unveiled the PencilWash, a $349 device aimed at addressing wet messes.
