Naveen Kumar unveiled his debut book "The Journey of Flute" at Whistling Woods International in Mumbai. The event was graced by filmmaker Subhash Ghai, along with singer Sukhwinder Singh and musician Shivamani.

Naveen Kumar, who played the flute in the blockbuster film ‘Dhurdhar,’ shared that this book is significant to him as it encapsulates his entire musical journey. It reflects years of practice, experimentation, and his deep connection with the flute. During the launch, he performed live, playing the songs 'Tu Hi Re' from the film ‘Hero’ and a special segment from ‘Dhurdhar 2.’

The highlight of the event was the collaboration between Shivamani and Naveen Kumar, which received rave reviews from both the audience and film industry stars present. Following this, Sukhwinder Singh delivered an electrifying performance of the song 'Krishna.'

Subhash Ghai praised Naveen Kumar, stating that true art is born from passion and dedication. He described the book as an inspiration for every artist.

Naveen Kumar credited his late parents as his greatest inspiration. He mentioned coming from a humble yet culturally rich family, carrying forward the art and values instilled by his parents. He also expressed gratitude to his wife Kiran and children Rahel Naveen and Jean Naveen.

He extended special thanks to Usha Srinivasan Shahane for her significant contribution to proofreading and editing the book, as well as to publisher Akash Bhabat for his unwavering support in bringing this book to life. Naveen Kumar acknowledged that Subhash Ghai has always guided him without any prior acquaintance.
