Banswara, August 12 (Daily Kiran News). "Patriotism and national pride do not come from speeches alone - they must be reflected in conduct and behaviour.

Along with education, imparting life values is the greatest need of the present time. When India introduced the concept of zero to the world, it enabled humanity to learn counting. We should take pride in our glorious history, art, knowledge, science, and the unparalleled achievements of our ancestors in the field of medicine."

These views were expressed by Vikas Raj, Department Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), while addressing a lecture on the topic Akhanda Bharat at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Barodia, as the chief speaker.

The programme was presided over by school head Anubhuti Jain, with Vikas Raj as the chief guest and speaker. Special guests included Mandal President Lal Singh Solanki, Chandrakant Khodnia, Vidya Bharati Janjati Samiti Rajasthan Joint Secretary Kalpesh Thakur, Pawan Bhawsar, Gopal Rao, and Bapulal Garg.

The event began with an introduction of the guests presented by Pawan Joshi, followed by a traditional welcome with tilak and uparna. School head Anubhuti Jain offered floral tributes and welcomed everyone, also sharing details of the school's academic and cultural activities.

In his address, Vikas Raj said that Akhanda Bharat signifies not only geographical unity but also cultural, spiritual, and ideological unity. He urged students to understand and embrace Indian culture, history, and traditions in their lives. He also noted that the world has acknowledged India's ancient contributions in science and mathematics, and the present generation must take pride in these achievements while moving forward.

Other special guests also shared their views, emphasising the need for moral values in education and the importance of India's unity and integrity.

The programme was conducted by Jaiprakash Joshi, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Principal Bapulal Garg.
