Mumbai, April 10: Realme has officially announced the launch of its latest true wireless earbuds, the Realme Buds T500 Pro, scheduled for release on April 16. This new model builds on the success of the highly popular Realme Buds T300, which has become a favorite in the budget segment due to its excellent balance of features and price.
The Buds T300 established the foundation for Realme's TWS lineup in India. It featured 12.4mm dynamic drivers, 30dB active noise cancellation (ANC), and up to 40 hours of total battery life, along with Bluetooth 5.3 and a 50ms low-latency mode. This combination of ANC, spatial audio support, and long battery life at a starting price near ₹2,000 helped it gain traction as a value-oriented option.
With the Buds T500 Pro, Realme is elevating its offering with significant upgrades in both hardware and software. The new earbuds maintain the 12.4mm driver size but now include Hi-Res certification and LHDC 5.0 codec support, enhancing audio fidelity compared to the T300's SBC and AAC support. Users can also enjoy multiple EQ modes for personalized sound customization.
The noise control feature has seen a significant improvement, increasing from 30dB on the T300 to an impressive 50dB active noise cancellation on the T500 Pro. Call performance has also been enhanced, upgrading from a quad-mic setup to a six-microphone system equipped with a real-time AI noise reduction algorithm designed to isolate voices more effectively.
Battery performance marks another major advancement. While the T300 offers up to 40 hours of total playback, the T500 Pro is rated for an impressive 56 hours with the charging case. Realme claims extended usage cycles, with standby playback lasting up to 14 days, depending on usage.
Connectivity has improved from Bluetooth 5.3 to Bluetooth 6.1, along with a 45ms ultra-low latency mode aimed at enhancing gaming and video playback experiences. A noteworthy new feature is real-time, two-way translation for face-to-face conversations, which was not available on the T300.
In terms of design, the Buds T500 Pro adopts a compact, candy box-style case, moving away from the simpler design language of the T300. The earbuds will be available in Lemon Cola, Orange Mint, and Chocolate color options, and will be sold through Realme's official website, Flipkart, and Amazon following the launch.
