Google has launched the new unified Google Health application that offers insight into fitness and health on same platform.
While Fitbit wearables hardware continues to retain its brand name, fitness and health tracking app will get the new name Google Health.
The Google Health app will roll out as an app update to existing Fitbit users starting May 19. Users need not download a different app, and the data will transition automatically.
