Kohima: Four new model colleges have been sanctioned for Nagaland under the PM-USHA scheme, with the Department of Higher Education informing the House through Higher Education Minister Temjen Imna Along on Monday during the ongoing session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
Responding to an unstarred question raised by MLA Jwenga Seb, the department said the new model colleges have been sanctioned at Terogvunyu in Tseminyu, Kiantankeng in Noklak, Yimluzang in Shamator, and Zuheshe village in Niuland.
It was informed that the geo-coordinates of the proposed model colleges were uploaded on the PM-USHA portal on December 12, 2023.
