HYDERABAD: Municipal enforcement teams on Thursday identified 54 unauthorised constructions and demolished 21 buildings as part of an ongoing drive against unauthorised under-construction buildings.
Officials also served 14 notices and seized one unauthorised construction during inspections across three zones. Another 33 cases remain pending for further demolition action.
Serilingampally records highest number of demolitions
The Serilingampally zone recorded the highest number of demolitions, with nine buildings pulled down. Kukatpally accounted for six demolitions, while six buildings were demolished in Quthbullapur.

The enforcement teams said field-level identification and action would continue to ensure compliance with building regulations. All identified unauthorised constructions will be taken up for action according to the prescribed procedure and applicable regulations.
The official Telangana government portal currently lists Kukatpally, Serilingampally and Quthbullapur as municipal zonal jurisdictions.
