After taking oath in a sensational victory in the Telangana Assembly Elections in December, 2024 marks the first year of Revanth Reddy in power.

The one year time has been largely uneventful. Revanth Reddy failed to make a mark of his own in welfare or the development. The implementation of the Six Guarantees and the previous schemes of KCR has been patchy.

Some schemes have started but there were debates that the beneficiaries were curtailed with many riders. The Meddigadda Barrage that got damaged before the Elections was not repaired till date and the costliest irrigation project, Kaleshwaram laid unused.

Many opine that Revanth Reddy intentionally did not repair it as he wants the projects conceived and executed by KCR to be proven useless.

For any Chief Minister of Telangana, the infrastructure development and investments to Hyderabad are very key to make a mark for himself. There is continuity in Hyderabad infra projects but there are no new projects indicating Revanth Reddy's mark.

On the investments front, the last one year did not see any movement.

Towards the end of the year, Revanth Reddy pursued Allu Arjun's case very aggressively which got him mixed results. Also there is an indication that KTR will be jailed sooner or later in Formula-E Racing Funds Misappropriation.

While some believe these are diversion tactics, there are people who believe Revanth Reddy is trying to improve his Political Image by being a ruthless leaders.

Whatever it maybe, 2025 has ample room of improvement as far as Revanth Reddy is concerned. Remember he is just into second year of his five years term and it is not late.
