Telangana witnessed a second earthquake in less than a week. According to the reports, an earthquake of 3.0 magnitude hit Mahbubnagar district.
Tremors from an earthquake were experienced around 12:15 PM today, with the epicenter located in Dasaripalle village, Koukuntla Mandal. Residents were frightened for a few seconds and came out of their houses. More details about this earthquake are expected to be announced soon.

Just a few days ago, Telangana experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 in Mulugu district. The tremors were felt in other parts of the state and in Andhra Pradesh as well. It was centred in Mulugu and spread across a radius of 240 km.
Telangana rarely experiences earthquakes, and an earthquake of this magnitude occurred after 20 years, causing panic among the residents.
