AP CM Chandrababu said that his government is working for the development of all three regions of the state. He explained during a media interaction that three zones will be created to ensure balanced growth.
He stressed that equal development of all regions is the focus.
Chandrababu urged Amaravati farmers to unite under the Amaravati Area Development Association and form a JAC. He said the government would meet them regularly and address their concerns. He added that they requested Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for capital gains discount and the Centre will take a decision soon.
He warned that strict action will be taken against any officials demanding money from capital region farmers. He said the government is committed to resolving the concerns of farmers who sacrificed their lands for Amaravati. Once farmers met him, their doubts were cleared, he said.
Chandrababu stated that the capital farmers are now satisfied. He explained the benefits of the second round of land pooling and said Amaravati should not remain a municipality. Farmers have understood the advantages of Amaravati growing into a world-class city. A three-member committee is in constant touch with them. the CM said.
He said Amaravati's development is now unstoppable. The government will soon resolve layout issues around the capital region. He added that they intend to complete Polavaram before the Godavari pushkaralu and are working to eliminate corruption in the state.
