Anvesh claimed he was fighting against betting ads. In that process, he started making sensational allegations against top officials. He even used abusive language in his videos.
One of his recent viral videos accused Hyderabad Metro officials of allowing betting app ads. He also alleged a 300-crore scam.

In the video, he named several high-ranking officials-Telangana DGP Jitender, Metro MD NVS Reddy, former Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and IAS officers Dana Kishore and Vikas Raj.
He accused them of being involved in the scam but didn't provide any solid proof. This led a police constable to file a complaint. The complaint said Anvesh's video was spreading false information and damaging the image of public officials.

Based on the complaint, Cyberabad Cyber Crime Police registered an FIR and took up the case on their own (suo motu).
Earlier, Anvesh had received praise from IPS officer and TSRTC MD Sajjanar for creating awareness on betting apps. But his latest video appears to have crossed a legal line.
Many now feel Anvesh is using controversies just to get views. If he doesn't apologize or withdraw his claims, there's a high chance he could face arrest if he returns to Hyderabad.
