While intimate scenes have been common in Bollywood the usage of intimacy coordinators have not been normalised until recently. Recounting a horrible incident from her earlier years in the industry Anupria Goenka recalled how a male-costar tried to take advantage of the intimate scenes to misbehave with her.
She shared that her co-star got too excited and touched her waist down while shooting an intimate scene. She had to re-establish boundaries by clearly telling him to never do that again.
