Suriya is reportedly in talks with Venky Atluri, the director of Lucky Baskhar, for his upcoming movie. Lucky Baskhar, the Dulquer Salman starrer, went on to be a big hit among fans and critics and the director has good chances of giving Suriya a massive comeback.

Suriya's Kanguva was a big disaster. It was supposed to be the biggest hit from the industry but was not able to make even a hundred crores. He also lost his chance with the Telugu audiences with Kanguva.

Venky Atluri, who is a Telugu filmmaker himself, is known to offer romantic roles for Telugu actors and massive action thrillers for Tamil actors. He can offer Suriya a good chance to redeem his fan base and claim his fan superstardom again with this movie.
