The expectations for Akhanda 2 are strong, but they are not on the same level as OG. The first two songs also failed to create a strong impact. The trailer released yesterday is packed with typical Boyapati mass elements. Even then, the response seems extremely mixed because of its heavy tone.

However, Boyapati Sreenu should never be underestimated when it comes to theatrical impact. His films may receive mixed reviews. But his action sequences always create huge noise. Since Dil Raju holds the Nizam rights for Akhanda 2 and also serves as the Film Federation Chairman, all eyes are on him. People want to see what proposal he will submit for ticket pricing.

If premieres happen on December 4, theatres are expected to turn into festive events. The team of Boyapati and Balakrishna appears extremely confident. They believe Akhanda 2 will begin another hat trick run of blockbusters for their combination. The official announcement on premieres may take some more time. The hype is slowly building.
